Meet Bruce Elbertson

Bruce Elbertson founded Blind Repair Plus in 2025, but he's been working with blinds and shades since 1982 — over 40 years of hands-on experience repairing, installing, and troubleshooting window coverings of many kinds. Early in his career, Bruce worked installing in the greater Fort Lauderdale, Florida area, developing a deep familiarity with how blinds are built and how they fail. He earned his Hunter Douglas Master Installer certification — the highest level of factory certification available — and later added his PowerView Pro credentials, qualifying him to install and service Hunter Douglas's Powerview motorization platform. Blind Repair Plus is a mobile service business. Bruce comes to your home, performs the assessment and If possible the repair on-site, and stands behind every job. No middlemen, no subcontractors.
